1. The Mountain where God gave Moses the ten commandments is called “Jabal Al Lawz” in Saudi Arabia – exact location described in God’s Word – Galatians 4:25 “….mount Sinai in Arabia,” KJV it is still there today – You can Google Earth it. It as everything described in scripture

2. Burnt Black Scorched Mountain top – with a distinct line where it meets the regular rock – Just this one mountain top in the whole range. – Not volcanic – if you break the rock it is regular colored on the inside.  And mount Sinai was altogether on a smoke, because the Lord descended upon it in fire: and the smoke thereof ascended as the smoke of a furnace, and the whole mount quaked greatly. Exodus 19:18

3.  Rock of Horeb – It has the “Rock of Horeb” that stands 5 stories high and has clear evidence of damage by water erosion, in one of the driest places on earth. Behold, I will stand before thee there upon the rock in Horeb; and thou shalt smite the rock, and there shall come water out of it, that the people may drink. And Moses did so in the sight of the elders of Israel. Exodus 17:6 – He clave the rocks in the wilderness, and gave them drink as out of the great depths, 16 He brought streams also out of the rock, and caused waters to run down like rivers. 4.  Cave of Elijah – It has a cave 15 ft High 20 ft Deep with a wonderful view – A Cave on the Mountain of God! And he arose, and did eat and drink, and went in the strength of that meat forty days and forty nights unto Horeb the mount of God. And he came thither unto a cave, and lodged there; and, behold, the word of the Lord came to him, and he said unto him, What doest thou here, Elijah? – 1 Kings 19:8-9

7.  Alters and Pillars – Looking down from the mountain there is evidence of a man made two lane animal holding pen and evidence of twelve manmade pillars. And Moses wrote all the words of the Lord, and rose up early in the morning, and builded an altar under the hill, and twelve pillars, according to the twelve tribes of Israel. Exodus 24:4

8.  Bushes and Almond trees – On this arid dessert mountain are few trees but there is an Almond Tree behold, the rod of Aaron for the house of Levi was budded, and brought forth buds, and bloomed blossoms, and yielded almonds. Numbers 17:8

9.  Foot etchings in the rocks – there are Foot Prints etched onto the rocks! Every place whereon the soles of your feet shall tread shall be yours: from the wilderness and Lebanon, from the river, the river Euphrates, even unto the uttermost sea shall your coast be. Duteronomy 11:24

10.  Quail – there are lots of quail – these birds fly over the sea and drop to the ground exhausted. – The people asked, and he brought quails, Psalm 105:40 – And there went forth a wind from the Lord, and brought quails from the sea, and let them fall by the camp, as it were a day’s journey on this side, and as it were a day’s journey on the other side, round about the camp, and as it were two cubits high upon the face of the earth. And the people stood up all that day, and all that night, and all the next day, and they gathered the quails: Numbers 11:32 – And it came to pass, that at even the quails came up, and covered the camp: Exodus 16:13

The Place where God had Moses raise his rod and the Red Sea parted, is on the Sinai peninsula just as described in God’s Word – And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying, 2 Speak unto the children of Israel, that they turn and encamp before Pihahiroth, between Migdol and the sea, over against Baalzephon: before it shall ye encamp by the sea. Exodus 14:1-2  – it is still there today – You can Google Earth it.

There is a wide sand bar just at this point on the Gulf of Aqaba between Sinai and Arabia and it is littered with the remains of the Egyptian chariots.

And Moses stretched out his hand over the sea; and the Lord caused the sea to go back by a strong east wind all that night, and made the sea dry land, and the waters were divided. 22 And the children of Israel went into the midst of the sea upon the dry ground: and the waters were a wall unto them on their right hand, and on their left. Exodus 14:21-22
